Hi there all,

Does anyone know the email address for Hyundai support? I have customercare@hyundai.com.au but they don’t seem to respond (at all)

My car is a; 2017 Hyundai i30 PD 130 SR PREMIUM DCT 1.6l Turbo GDi

My question is (in case one of you know); why doesn’t the navigation system make a sound/announcement for over speed despite the audible alert tick box being switched to the on position? It only changes the map road speed icon to red which is kind of useless when you are looking at the road with no audible alert.  I’ve also noticed you cannnot change the voice, no real setting for live traffic info etc, all missing when compared to my older 2013 Premium i30.

Hyundai seem to have removed a lot of features from the current nav system..

Cheers Darrell

You do realise that the speed alerts are only as accurate as the latest update (or lack of). Authorities will not revoke your speeding ticket on the grounds that "satnav said the limit was 90 not 70". It is only intended as a guide at best. Relaying on satnav warnings alone can be very costly especially on double demerit periods.

My PD SR sat Nav speed sign flashes & beeps at 10 kms over speed limit, so something not right. Maybe a reboot at dealer required :phone1:

10kms over  A bit late by then (in some states anyway)

I've never used a speed alert. I just try and have the cruise adjusted to the current limit and it's clever enough to stay within about 3 kph maximum variation.
