I've had my i30 Elite for a few years and it's been terrific. Now at around 140k on the clock, and no issues. I don't have a compelling reason to change, but I started to consider getting a newer model before the K's on mine would make it harder to sell. I was looking at either a 2017 or 2018 i30, similar spec to the Elite. I'm in Melbourne, so used car prices are still pretty high and I'm just not sure if this is a good time to do a trade up or not. If I could trade up for around $5k or $6k for something with average K's on the clock I would be happy.
Any opinions on 1 - good or bad time to trade up? and
2. re the upgrade car, any good reasons to avoid/get a 2017 over a 2018 etc.
