Thanks, I am trying to change them to black. You're right it's too new, not many parts around  - I looked around  on found a set for Elantra AD (sedan). It seems like it shares the same side mirror covers as the i30 PD so hope they'll  fit.

The covers for Elantra AD although has the same shape and size just did not fit (clips are in different positions). I searched hard and finally found a set on ebay in black for the PD (most of them only stock chrome). They're about $70AUD including postage. I really like the look of them!

Yes, white lends itself to black highlights very well.
