  hi.
Just joined. Have been a consumer of info on this site a long time. Hope to contribute at some point.

However I need a hand to find how to remove the clutch  master cycliner to replace it.
Can't get it out or find any info on this subject.
Appears to be blocked inside car by metal structure holding brake and clutch pedals

Hopefully an easier way than remove this huge metal structure.

Its a 2007 Diesel 5 door i30

Sorry, it comes out from the inside. If its low pedal and not leaking, try the damper delete...also reverse bleed the slave cylinder.  its in Search

Will try the reverse bleed. Just looked it up.quite brilliant idea.
I got a replacement master cylinder and tried to get it out from inside.
There is a lot of metal structure on inside.  Master cylinder looks like it is blocked by this.metal structure.
Are you suggesting it just can be wiggled out or do I have to remove the metal structure around brake and clutch pedals. Looks like a big job if this is required.

Already deleted the damper

I will have a go with the reverse bleed first.

no wiggling unfortunately. The pedals carriage is robust for safety reasons.

If you cant see any fluid leaks at master or slave, definitely do the bleed.

Finally found the problem on the freeway when the slave cyclinder failed completely.
The leak was behind the bellows and too small to be seen or felt. Just enough to let air into the system.
The catastrophic failyre of the slave cylinder was a good thing .. ot illuminated the problem.
Lesson learned always take rhe belows off to feel for leaks.
Replaced with a new one for 39 dollars..
