Thanks Trevor.

A few interesting facts. i30 was clearly outsold by the new Corolla in July (probably partly due to the release of Hybrids that were on a stop for roughly a month) But i30 still did OK coming in 5th best seller and slightly up on July 2018.

Hyundai well ahead of Mitsubishi (in clear third spot after Toyota and Mazda)

Kia was one of the few brands that actually was up in sales (slightly)

Kona sales strong in July with 1230 sold (closing on Mazda CX3)

Ive just commented in another post, that if my wife's FD advert is any indication, there is a lot of interest compared to the beginning of the year. As an experiment, I virtually tried to give a GD away and got 4 lame text messages for my trouble.
A lot of tyre kickers no doubt, but there will be a buyer among them.

Does this translate to new cars?  :phone1: usually does.

There is one issue and that is,  the Top seller Toyota has been selling defective vehicles since 2015 and is now being sued.

I know you say, but it was X model and XXX etc., however  to Joe Public, TOYOTA looks shonky, and if they are, what about the other 'not as good' brands.
