I’ve stumbled across this forum and website while I was on the search for genuine i30 floor mats.

I live in the northern suburbs of Melbourne roughly 30km or 19 miles from the big city lights.

I’ve been driving for 22 years - first car was a 1979 Holden Gemini SL/X, then came the 1991 Nissan Pintara TRX, and lastly the 2011 Hyundai i45... the engine seized on 4 December with 192,000km on the odometer... so now taking a big jump into my first brand new car!

Hopefully I will be picking up a new 2019 i30 Active (Iron Grey) from Dandenong Hyundai here in the south eastern area of Melbourne on Friday as long as the funds clear into the dealership bank account - they’ve said it’ll take 3 days to clear?

This forum has already been bookmarked, I think there will be a lot of useful information here for me to get the best out of my new purchase.

If you are with different banks it could take that long(maximum) It seems to be getting quicker all the time so you shouldn't have any delays.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome - I'm happy to say that I've picked up my i30 on Friday!!

It's a wonderful car to drive, the high-beam is way more powerful than the previous i45 that I owned... still have to sort through all the settings and program in the radio stations - only figured out this morning that I'm able to use Google Maps instead of Apple Maps through Apple CarPlay!

I think I need to fiddle around with the sound EQ and audio/speaker balance - seems to be a different sound quality from my previous car.
