i saw an i20 add on tv tonight.  at first i thought it was an i30 add untill i saw a green one,i then realised it was an i20 add.

in Israel they did a combined tv add for the I10, I20 and I30\I30CW (touring)...
everytime they showed one of the vehicles.. said a few words then mentioned all the models from the I series

Love the fuel economy test.
They decided to see how far one would go on a tank of fuel and set off from Sydney to Brisbane to see when it would run out.
It ran out on the northern outskirts of Bundaberg.

That's 1269 klms for our overseas friends.
That's up the Pacific Highway during school holidays, with roadworks, bottlenecks, grey nomads et al.

It's quite a cute little thing, and certainly looks a generation newer than the getz. Over here the colour range is pretty different to the i30, and it is available with a (1.4) U2 CRDi.

It was is) quite a lot less than the i30, but it is a lot smaller car.

Yeah. Once.
But I noticed the green also in a press story. One paper had a red pic, the other a green one. Thought it was a Mazda 2 at first.
Quite a nice looking car and if the i10 arrives as well, should be good.
I can understand Hyundai doesn't want to see the end of the high performing Getz, but the newer shapes certainly run rings around it.

I suspect the Getz had outlived its usefulness in overseas markets, so Hyundai Australia may have no choice in the matter.
