Havnt posted for a while life gets busy! Anyway I have a whining noise under acceleration, lingers a but while cruising, I suspect the turbo has decided after 525,000km to go.
Still got a bit of power,.but have noticed it being sluggish flat spotting on power around 1600-1800 rpm.

Yes , very good chance the turbo is on it's way out , a high pitch whine that changes with engine revs is most likely the Turbo

I believe 525,000kms is a very good run , so far I'm at 230,000 with no issues , hopefully I make the 500,000kms mark.

Turbo issues no more, replaced the turbo and it's very nimble, I remember it was getting sluggish but it's like a rocket now!

Great to hear. Mine in whining at 290K, workshop has turbo, but can't find me an appointment to replace it.

I had to wait a week after I got all the parts but we'll worth it. My mechanic is 300 Meters up the road.
