Nice post. Third overall in the ratings slightly ahead of the four German builds.

What surprises me is the i30 dealer service rating; I wouldn't have given 3 stars - maybe 2 - and I don't think I'm alone on this forum in thinking that.

The i30's brother/sister the Cee'd is down at 9th.

Given it is the same platform it only gets 2 stars for mechanical reliability.

Wonder whether this is for the petrol or diesel?

Thanks Alan .. Interesting.. I enjoyed the Skoda Octavia 1.8TSi we recently hired but the Rental company said they weren't that reliable ?
