Hello all
I’m ordering new springs for my 2010 i30cw crdi. Can someone please tell me the front and rear axel weights or tell me how to find them?
-
I'm guessing you mean the tare and gross vehicle weights :undecided: they'll be mentioned in your owners handbook.
-
The people I’m buying the spring from have asked for the weight on the front and rear axel not the the total weight

I've no idea what they're talking about then, any good suspension shop would already know the vehicle specs and you simply buy springs to suit that model.

If I could get the car to them it would be fine but they are in Brisbane and I’m in vic

Fulcrum?
I've never heard of it either and they're the best in the business.
Ask them to explain why they need those figures.

It’s a mob that orders springs from eibach. They need them cause there are different variations of springs on the i30

If they're using the correct site to confirm your vehicle then it's quite simple, Pick your car here using the kW to identify your exact model http://web2.carparts-cat.com/default.aspx?11=279&10=0E5585BB3580483085D5193443BCFF15279004&14=4&12=102&52=1&30=183&1250=1&1230=9997&1231=&31=6985&330=531&1260=1 (http://web2.carparts-cat.com/default.aspx?11=279&10=0E5585BB3580483085D5193443BCFF15279004&14=4&12=102&52=1&30=183&1250=1&1230=9997&1231=&31=6985&330=531&1260=1)
It's likely the shop you are ordering from are trying to search i30 CW but they need to use the Euro description of "Estate"
