Not really a problem, more of an observation. If I am driving fairly slowly in 2nd or 3rd gear (manual) and take foot off accelerator and clutch, my i30 will continue to 'cruise' at a speed of 10-20mph for some distance, in fact forever unless going uphill. Just wondered if that was normal or choke related as many manual petrol cars would simply stall under those circumstances.

Hi M8.. it's the anti stall feature in the diesel.. Most of us quite like it.. Comes in handy at times.. :D

Hey man mine does that to. I have the 2.0l petrol. In heavy traffic on flat roads i cant just cruise without throttle saves clutch riding stop and starting.

Happens with my diesel. It a great feature, especially in slow moving traffic.

I first noticed this in reverse, coming out of my driveway. Took my foot off the clutch to accelerate, and the car kept rolling!

Pretty cool I'd imagine in traffic, seeing I am on the roads at 530am, and even though I live in Sydney, is pretty minimal.

this in normal if happens to all the cars in the world .your car moves because of the torque in fact at diesel cars you can do 60km/h just by shifting gears and no acceleration
