Dears, this is my second post today. Stupidly, I have scraped the bottom of my drivers door, and need to remove it to "push out" a section at the front of the door. I am hoping that I can disconnect the wiring loom at the point it enters the body, and remove several bolts to take of the complete door...!
Has anyone done this? How to disconnect the wiring, and which bolts are best to remove? It looks like the four bolts that hold the hinges to the door might be the most accessible. I will also be removing the wing as this is also damaged.
thanks in advance, Pete Wright.

Hi Pete and Welcome,

I haven't done it, but I suspect you will need to remove the door trim first to access and disconnect the wiring.

I thought there would be "how to" videos on You tube for doing this and there are plenty. Just search "removing car door" It will be the same or very similar for all cars, so brand isn't really important in this case.

Sorry to hear about the damage, never nice when this happens.  :disapp:

On my door where the electics wire is there is a what looks like a joiner type plug.

Presume just disconnect by pulling male/female apart.
