You needed to have E85 race fuel in it John

 My mate's Octavia is so souped up now that it will only run on E85!  Octane rating 106 Ron..

I used to tune the Mini up to BP 120 if I felt like having a crazy day but mostly BP100 or avgas was sufficient.
