is it true, Queensland government took out the mr , mrs , male female? as it offended ?

Apparantly Transport took the M/F off the Drivers licence because it might offend someone.

They didn't take into account all the people who may be offended by that decision.

Actually there is no mention of gender on my Tassie Licence. If I end up with Dementia and forget what sex I am, I won't be able to get a hint from my license!

My point above is that if we check, we'll find not just Queensland has done this.
It seems to have been done Australia wide but only the Queenslanders were smart enough to pick up on it (18 months later  ).

but was filling in form other week it asked mr mrs with square. but thats not the point, just in print, I'm talking about what do you verbally call a stranger in Queensland?
I referred to a girl as the young lady only this past week in Sydney and she did not mind at all.
