I’ve got the new generation i30 and I’m having issues with the door handles sticking. The handles pull out ok but I need to push them back in, they sometimes won’t go back in themselves. I’ve managed to free off the driver one with WD40 but the passenger handle is still sticking. Anyone else have this issue?

Must be a temperature thing.  :undecided:

I'd be looking for a fix under warranty.

Is it sticky on door edge side or inside side?
I.e. the end that pulls out or the end which just swivels?

You can remove the outside handle by prising out the big bung on the door edge and remove the screw/bolt and handle just pulls away.

You can then clean area etc and replace.

Think it is a plastic type plunger so may just need clean.

When I was taken for a test drive in a PD it happened to the front passenger door on the demonstrator.
It also affected the front doors (and possibly the rear ones but I can't be sure) on my own car but might be improving with use, I don't recall it happening in the last few days but then again we might have got into the habit of pushing them in again ourselves.

Odd isn't it.  Never been a reported issue in the earlier two series.  Wonder what has changed. The doors seem harder to shut in the PD too...  :crazy1: I'll start a separate thread.
