Since my Samsung S7 phone upgraded to Android version 7, Android Auto does not start. Software is the latest version, but I don't have Auto working via the direct connection by cable. I can still use Bluetooth to play music & use the phone, but no Android Auto.

Can anyone suggest a fix? I haven't talked to my dealer yet.

Be worth a google to see if anyone else is having the same problem with Android Auto in other Hyundai's or even other makes of car. I suspect either Samsung or Google (android) will come up with a fix fairly quickly if it is a widespread problem.

No AA in my car but it seems you're not the only one with such problems...

It's last year's fallout of the Marshmallow update but I think the same remedies will have to apply.

Thanks @TheGonz and @Dazzler, your suggestions have shown me the problem is more widespread than just this car & phone 

Could be USB cable or something else. I appreciate your help.
