Hello from England, Hampshire to be precise..

 We have had two mkIV Golf TDI that lasted me over 120k miles over the last 10 years commuting / Holidays in the Lake District and Peak District..  When we're not Working / driving we're walking..

 We also have two Citroen Berlingo 1.9D, one a van and one a converted Box Camper, home made...

 We are hoping the Hi30 is going to be as reliable as the Golf were. We have arranged to pick it up Sat 17 March, it has 47k miles on the clock and some service History which is Genuine Hyundai.. It is Black and the log book says it's a Comfort..

 I like to do my own spannering so I'm also hoping the i30 is easy to work on..

I hope you have a good run. They are an inherently reliable car, but any 7 years old used car is a bit of a lottery.

I don't think you will find any trouble maintaining it yourself, easy to access and work with, it's put together in a sane way(except maybe the roof lining).
