But the birds have a sheltered spot for their feeders.

Deep south coast, New South Wales
looks like, a colour pic, then a black and white.
we are having nice weather now not too hot and have had good rain fall so all green.
alan , your lawn just reminded me , I was in Sydney on weekend for a party, they had grass like you put down as house blocked the sun from lawn so grass never grew. they had a lawn like yours put down. has a steel frame that grass stitched too around the edge then it has u nails to stake all around edge. then join joined like a carpet. then had sand put over it. only a small front lawn , they have a large rear yard normal grass out the back. cost them ten grand.

Yes but i live on the coast and surrounded on 3 sides by water so it is slightly warmer than where alanho resides.

Still amazes me how little you guys travel. If I lived in the Wirrel 50 miles from Alan,Steve and Asa I would try to catch up at least once a month. You have only met Asa out of those three haven't you?

ya see Dazz. what it is is=  we don't have roads a thousand miles long with no bends  :crazy1: :crazy1: :crazy1:

Just kidding Dazz, calm down.  Although Lester and I are only aprox 25 miles apart (in a straight line)...  when I drive home from my Wales slave ship journeys I pass close to Lester's place and the travel time can be well over one hour of nightmare traffic, as I switch from the M56 to the M62 I am effectively on the Worlds biggets car park  <sigh>

I hope that this goes some way to enlightening you...   :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

Thanks for that ASA. I forget it isn't like our 50 miles/80 kilometres...   :crazy1:

Our year in Wiltshire was similarly enlightening. We would take every weekend away to Scotland, France, Spain, you name it, while the locals would maybe venture out to one of the two pubs in Shrivenham for a curry.

We are not hermits - the Niro has done 13,000 km since we had it in March.

It would have done more in the car had we not been abroad to Portugal, Croatia, Germany, Hungary and Austria this year. :harhar: :kissmyass: :gotcha:

But I think you are the exception rather than the rule. I'm guessing you find it uncomfortable to sit too long on that fat wallet of yours...  :winker: :snigger:
