Damn! she's down but I don't think she's out "yet"

Is that the Ennis and Grange intersection?

Always accidents there :disapp: don't know how and when they're going to fix it.

Thankfully Anna is alright :)

Yeah it's always been a bad blackspot :disapp:

Bugger.

Glad to hear your Wife is ok. Pity about the car, but after all it's just a car that can be fixed or replaced.

What a crying shame. Good to hear your wife isn't physically injured.

On the brighter side, should be easy to clear the gunge from your washer bottle now ;)

Not nice for your better half. It's a horrible experience.

Hope she (the car) comes up as good as new.

Gee, that's not good.
I know the intersection well. Great visibility, traffic lights, wide open road.
I don't get it how it is one of Perth's worst.
Red light runners don't help, mind you.
I hope you can prove the red light.   :goodjob:

Seriously, all smiles if she's OK. I agree about getting her back in a new/fixed one ASAP.

Many of the intersections have speed cameras and red light cameras here, I think the intersection in question even has a monitoring camera, if you look in the background there is a tall yellow pole with what looks to be a monitoring system attached.

If it's a Main Roads camera it won't help as they are there for MR benefit, not yours.
Only if there is a specific Safety Camera (Speed/Red Light) will it help you.
I hope there is, otherwise, it's a turn in front of unless there are witnesses.   :fingers:

Dave, do main roads not have to provide footage if the police ask for it :undecided:

If the police specifically ask for it they would but in a simple car v car by the time they get around to investigating it (among thousands of other crashes) they won't ask and it won't be available then.
It will rely on eye witnesses only.

If they are like Qld they all record and store footage for a short period of time (28 days or so).

If they record it, you can RTI it, but you will have to move quickly so they save it.

I'm not a big fan of speed camera's.
but i have seen how they have stopped red light runners on intersections that used to have a lot of accidents. as with red light speed camera's. even if lights green and your over speed limit you get a ticket, but if you speed and run a red light you get two tickets. soon works.
