This guy (2nd from left) took part in the Bathurst 12 hour endurance race over the weekend. I think he is European. I haven't been able to put a name to the Face despite searching for pictures of most of the drivers I don't know.

I'm inquisitive to know how tall he is, as the guy 2nd from the right is Garth Tander and he is about 6'5" I think and this other guy looks way taller!

Step3: Search names attached to Aston Martins
Step4: George Mediecke
Step5: Check his stats and he's 6'6"
Step6: cross fingers, hope I'm right and not made a complete ass of myself

Couldn't see any identifiable logos on his race suit.

Dazz, if this is George, he's th guy who put the car in the water during the Tassie rally a year or two ago.

Neither could I, had throw some BS around, but I mistakenly took the guys next as Aston  but second looks more Bentley. That mistake helped LOL.

Unfortunately someone threw european into the mix so I excluded all Aussies, now who was that

I knew Andrew fairly well when he was racing Formula Pacific, alongside guys like Larry Perkins.
Incidentally,  Dazz, he grew up in Launceston.
Had/ has Ford dealership in Port Macquarie.

So his now multi franchise business obviously includes Hyundai.

Being a big fan of Marcos Ambrose I did follow George's Nascar campaign (only a few races in the 2nd tier, but he did quite well) Most of the vision was of his car or just a bit of a write up on Marcos's site...

Don't know why I thought he was European!
