So i was going to post some photos of the wheels I just installed however 200kb is no where near the size of the photo. I was reading a forum where Craig mentioned something about Imgur or something like that, where you paste a link?? Anyone able to shed some light?

Well at least we know what they would look like on our cars now without needing to photoshop them on.

I think they would look even more awesome in a matte black. :goodjob:

As much as I like them, there's something in what @CraigB said. The dealers we meet all tell us white cars with plenty of black offset including tinting and wheels are selling fast! :goodjob:

You could play with a light spray of matte black out of a can just to see how you like it. I'm sure it'll scrub off easily enough if you change your mind. :D

Black wheels and trim are the current flavor of the month, but personally I'm not a big fan... I've never been one for following trends through, unless they suit my situation.

The black wheels started off as a flavour of the month some years ago but are getting more and more popular all the time, their nice on white and "silver cars" though I still prefer chrome wheels for all other colours.

Vivalazuzu's rims still look good either way :goodjob2:

It's a cyclic thing. Like how TV's and Audio components used to alternate between silver and black. To be honest. I think it is a marketing ploy to get people to update their Tv, audio or wheels, etc.. as the case may be.

Thank you to all who have commented. I did consider matte black but something about shadow chrome wheel with the chrome plastic just worked. Maybe i will spray them later down the track. I still have the original wheels to put back on the car so that i can sell these separately  :). As Craig mentioned, not his choice of wheels but not his car. And yes another 3dr haha!!

They look a treat. Especially or the 3dr.
I wouldn't go painting them. Factory wheels always look cheap and shit when painted.
Black rims really took off about 15yrs ago on the 4wd competition scene. I remember painting my FJ40 rims black on my P's and feeling like such a badass.
