Engine cut out while driving 1.6 diesel SOLVED!

While driving  app 120 km/h the car suddenly accelerated and then cut out. After this it refused to start.
I have checked the fault codes and they are P0193 fuel rail pressure sensor circuit high and P1185
This indicates that the fault is to do with the fuel rail system. Can anyone shed some light on this?


I FOUND THE FAULT. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A TUNING BOX ATTACHED WHICH MALFUNCTIONED. ONCE REMOVED IT WORKED FINE AGAIN.

Tuning box is an add on performance boosing module. If your car is standard, as it came from the factory then this fix is not going to help you unfortunately.  I don't have any pictures of what a tuning box looks like but someone might be able to post a picture and where to look if you are not sure if there is one.

Many brands of tuning boxes (Chip Box) out there so individual pictures might not match, if you have a tuning box it'll be plugged into the OBD port under the bonnet.
