Title: Door actuators
Post by: LM82 on April 10, 2019, 01:21:41
I need to get the actuators on two of my doors replaced   :( been quoted $1200 by hyundai. I've looked on ebay and all the actuators are used condition. I'm wondering whether its worth taking a gamble on them? Or is there somewhere else i could source a new one for reasonable price? Thanks in advance

With something that is known for failing used is simply closer to having to pay labour to replace them again.

For mine false economy....

If you search im sure the parts numbers (and perhaps a help guide on the repair) will be on here somewhere.  $1200 seems expensive, but from memory it is a bit fiddily.

1200?

I ordered new parts from koraps.com. 40€ each + postage. Few hours of work.
