GD was in last dealer service, as the warranty is running out. Service included automatic transmission oil change. Asked about trans oil filter, and the customer service told there is no filter in the transmission. Showed him the part number and he was able to find it from computer software. He told it is not part of the service. Contacted Hyundai about that. They told there is a filter in the automatic transmission, but it is not ment to be changed during normal service. Changing the filter would require disassembly of the transmission. Not very impressed about that.
