We are off tomorrow (Saturday 19th Aug) to the Renaissance Hotel Heathrow for 1 night to catch a B.A flight to Budapest on Sunday. Where we board a Riviera river cruise ship - Thomas Hardy - to cruise the Danube. We call at Esztergom (Hungary) > Bratislava (Slovakia) > Durnstein (Austria > Linz, Salzburg (Austria > Vienna (Austria) then back to Budapest for a 1 day stay before catching the B.A flight back to Heathrow the following Sunday.

If it lives up to last year's river cruise with Riviera on the Rhine - we are due for a splendid time (and putting on 3 kgs weight with all the superb food and wine).

The ship has WiFi but it is satellite dependent and could be flakey - so if I am missing for a few days you know why.

Enjoy Alan. Sounds like a very interesting trip with a lot of places I would like to visit as well.

We have seen some of those cruise by when we've been on campsites along the River Donau/Danube..
