The bike looks good, Dazz.  I've come to this thread too late, and was going to suggest going to a bike shop to find the style of bike that suits you.  The grey one that is in one of your photos looks like my "flat-bar road" bike, although mine is a Trek.  I bought mine at a bike shop after telling the staff what I wanted the bike for.  Anaconda also have sales all throughout the year, with sometimes 50% off bikes.  A colleague of mine got a $1000 mountain bike for $500.

Bike looks brill and sporty.

Looking at the pictures i would find the ride pisition uncomfortable.

Due to my bad back i bought a longer stem so i'm not crouched down.
I'm more upright, not like riding a chopper bike, and find it more comfortable.

This may be something to consider.

I forgot you were a biker Jamie. Yes, I think it will suit me fine. I've adjusted the brakes and got all the accessories sorted. Just got to see if it will fit in the i30 now!

 :goodjob:

About 6 years ago, I bought a bike from Supercheap.
"The Enforcer" model. Back when they were sponsoring Russell Ingall.

It's got front AND rear ventilated disc brakes.
AND front and rear suspension.
Although the suspension hasn't reacted well to the salt climate in which I live.

That style of brake makes it easier than some when taking front wheel on and off.

Tomorrow is looking like another good day for a ride so might try front wheel in first before removing it, like Trev suggested.  :goodjob:
