Hi all.  Brand new to this forum and Hyundai ownership.  Have been pretty much a fan of German cars for the last 20 years and in fact this is my first Asian car.  I have owned many high performance cars including Golf GTi's, BMW 330s and a couple of Porsches.  But the time has come to get something sensible and cheap to run. So far I am very impressed although coming from a 3.0 to a 1.4 is going to take some getting used to.

I like the styling of the Edition model but that chrome grill was not nice, so I wrapped it in matt black yesterday.

I also tend to debadge most of my cars as I like the clean look.

Thanks all.

Just fitted some silver indicator bulbs to the front lights to get rid of that dated orange look and ordered up some for the side and rear.

Will hopefully upgrade to some factory 17" wheels at some point.  Not a fan of these 16" for both style and handling and actually really like the gun metal grey 17"s I have seen as standard on some i30s.

Welcome!

I got my hyundai after a, bmw, merc, audi  and volvo. The i30 is the best car I've owned,  I'm sure you'll be happy with it!

I think it rides and handles better on 15"s than the stock 16", lots of small windy mountain roads around here though, and a metric ton and a half of potholes and thaw damage on the roads. :)

Welcome

I don't know all the models and specs exactly. I've not seen many with the same rear diffuser but i did remove the "Edition" badge from the back.  Anyway to get a spec sheet from the chasis number?
