And Accent slips into the Top 10 for what I think is the first time. (#9).

I think you might be right Trev.

Pretty good overall figure for Hyundai considering the Tucson and Sante Fe have dropped down their respective categories a few notches...

Really not surprised to be honest. Part of the reason that I got my i30 was the great 5 year warranty, the 10 years RACQ Roadside assistance and reliability of these things. Not to mention how cheap this car is to insure (around $500 per year) and how many km they can get to a tank, best space capacity in its class, it was a no brainer. I was looking at a Tucson originally, but what you get in the i30 for the current price they are being sold at (2015 plated) is hard to pass up.

I suppose here in the Netherlands the cars that sell best are:
- Toyota Aygo
- Daewoo Matiz
- Kia Picanto
- Citroen C1
- etcetera...

And when I go a few kilomters south over the border to Belgium, I don't see any of these kind of cars.

I was going to ask whether it was the pricing that made it popular but that's already been answered above :goodjob:

The only reason I bought an i30 (I'm in the UK) instead of the Toyota equivalent was the heavy discount, the fact Hyundai offers roadside assistance for five years and most importantly the spare wheel in the boot which sadly Toyota have made optional.

As much as price is driving sales through the roof, the i30 and Hyundai in general is praised by their owners and mechanics seem to think they are just as well built and easy to work on.

Yes onto my 3rd Hyundai and very happy with them.

It still amazes me that I sold my Cw and had not replaced a brake pad @ 136k
