Pity my next car will need to have higher seating/easier access...

Still check one out though when they are released.

I quite liked the Optima, but it was thirsty like the Sonata.

Covers most of the same stuff as discussed but it's a nice walk around

7 year unlimited k warranty to boot.

Reckon you might see the Stinger running around as a Highway Patrol vehicle.

7 year unlimited k warranty to boot.

Need to be careful with warranty period as i'm sure NOT all items are covered for the 7 years.

  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

I think I read somewhere that our police are already trialling the Genesis which the Stinger gets it's engine from.

I had a look at a $90,000 Genesis today. It oozes features like HUD and sunroof and that's just what you can see. The fold down rear seat armrest even replicates the controls found on the dash!

$90,000 :faint: I thought they were supposed to be listed at 55k to 65ktop end :undecided:

My car has both those for 50k. Don't get me wrong, I like the Genesis, but a bit thirsty and overpriced. It was recently rated one of the most depreciating cars. Basically one of the most expensive cars p/w to own based on things like depreciation and running costs.

True, and the dash, aside from a few bits of glossy wood grain veneer, looks just like what's in the $21,000 Elantra. :whistler:

For a second I thought 'Why call it a keyring?'

Then I thought 'Ring Stinger'?

Getting down too the nitty gritty's with the Stinger now, drive/handling and styling reviews are excellent :link: 2018 Kia Stinger review

  • 2021 KIA Niro 3 1.6 Petrol Hybrid
Regarding the KIA 7 year warranty

In the UK it covers all the car except for :-

Radio and satnav head unit - limited to 3 years
Tyres
Brake linings
And the other caveats such as servicing to schedule etc,

If you are high mileage you are better with the Hyundai 5 year unlimited mileage warranty rather than the KIA & year 100,000 miles one.

Nice!

@Alanho Limited to 100k miles in UK? Unlimited kilometres here, so makes the Kia hard to beat.
