Hello I am an Uber driver and had to take my car over the pits. I have a base level 2016 i30 which had kumho tyres. The tyres now used by Hyundai are Nexen. They took even my spare and replaced it with a used Nexen tyre. I failed the test and they said I can come back with new ones and Ill pass but Ill have to pay $65 for the look over.  Always have photos of your car when going over the pits.

Does any one have the 2016 model with Kumho if so please upload or email me the pics.

Some photos of your tyres would be helpful to show us what the pits are complaining about.

Who replaced the tyres and was your original spare worn or still new?

So what are you saying? All 5 wheels were swapped over from another car?

How about you put some pictures of of the rims with the caps off. See if you can locate a date stamp on the rim. Of course you reported this the police?

Then you would have known, because the wheels would be square.
