Do you also need resistors for the indicators  :undecided:

Nah not yet, will most likely go leds all round, im also customising the headlights myself, but ill probably upgrade the indicator relay to an led one that way it fixes everything all round

Im really into car wiring and stuff, it comes pretty easy to me me. But i should be installing them tomorrow and post finished product.. only hard part was grinding open the tail lights as putting them in the oven doesn't work and then glueing them back together, its a bit of a hack job but it looks good on the outside and is still water tight

Looking forward to the results. My use of LEDs for all sorts of things has sometimes not needed resistors if the right number of LEDs in serial / parallel combinations produce the appropriate voltage drops. :goodjob:

Most hosting sites will let you upload videos (obviously You Tube is the biggest)

Looks good. Do you thing the Brake light parts are intense enough to be legal?

Good job :goodjob: not sure if I like being able to see the LED rails though :undecided: the real test will be after a good downpour of rain and whether condensation gets into the lights :Good_luck:

Just be forewarned about tinting the lights, the young lad up the road from me got his HSV red stickered 2 nights ago for exactly the same thing.

Did you end up needing resistors or a different relay?

I'd wager that wouldn't be the only aspect of the lamps found to be not up to spec if law enforcement were to have a look.

Top points for effort though, nearly as good as the tissue box mod.

Its a stock standard 2016 Clubsport which he bought aftermarket tinted lights for a few months ago, luckily he kept the standard ones to put back on but still has the annoyance of having to go over the pits.
He'll have no issues pit wise but he's learnt a lesson not to smart mouth the cops when getting a breathalyser  :Ouch:

Good lesson, that. :) I should clarify I meant the DIY lamps in this thread.

I understood that. Perhaps Melburnians understand Sydneyites more than the faraway Perthites do.

I wasn't sure which you were talking about but I can only respond to what has happened and not what could happen :D
