Hi from sunny Perth West Oz (PD SR)

Hi and greetings

First post - will be picking a PD SR auto in metal next week.

Coming from 2016 Suzuki Vitara turbo , nice car but ultimately didn't float my boat, but prior to that I had a 2015 Kia Pro_ceed GT with the 1.6 turbo GDI 6 speed manual. That was a great car , but 2 doors, seating position and a manual turned out to be not ideal for me' hoping the New car will solve those issues.

Good on you! It's fun if you can afford to do it (and you only live once) as far as I know.

The new SR is a very likeable car, Hard to fault! Did you get SR or SR Premium?

Hiya,

Yes I have gine through a few cars lately, hopefully the i30 will stay in the family a bit longer.

I got the SR , but not the SR premium, wasn't thT fussed on the extras for the cost. I wanted the SR with the turbo , auto and IRS. Plus the extra safety features in the auto are a bonus, can't understand why they don't come with the manual??

As a side,my dads last car wa a i30 crdi auto, I've owned 2 previous hyundais ( Getz and 2005 Elantra and my wife owns a atmo veloster

Yeah, If I bought an SR I wouldn't pay the extra for the sunroof and heated seats and stuff.
