just looking at the very low profile tyres dazz, a mate with a new before they stopped building them 6 month old commodore v8 ute that came with 19" factory wheels and low profile tyres did a trip to broken hill last month stuffed one of the tyres and the wheel too lucky had full size spare. Sydney inner city boy trying to see Australia  I would not feel confident on country roads.

Yeah, they don't like potholes on country roads. Hit a couple on our recent road trip in eastern Victoria and sure knew about it!  These are 18's, had 19's on the Calais. The ride and handling of the Calais and SR are surprisingly similar. Good, considering the low profiles, but not very "forgiving". I slighly buckled one of my Calais mags which you couldn't feel, but it became my spare.
