I havent come across that with mine.Shuddering quite badly in reverse uphill though (its still doing it despite having the clutch replaced under warranty)I'd take it up with the dealer as soon as you could.

I've tried what you mentioned but it doesnt seem to make any difference. My driveway is quite steep. See this pic. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/camerooney/P1010062.jpgI will quite happily reverse down and drive up, that doesnt bother me, but even if I'm in an estate (there are quite a few new ones built around/on hills in Gerrigong and Shellharbour) it will shudder reversing. I could be parked downhill for instance, someones parked a bit close to me in front and I need to reverse back a bit, it jerks/shudders and even feels like something is slipping. Something isnt quite right still. To test it, we got another i30 from the dealership. It was a brand new demo model, manual with only 130km's.We brought this home and drove up exactly the same way I usually would in mine, and it didnt shudder at all. The mechanic who came with us even agreed that it wasnt normal. After they replaced the clutch it was a little bit better and didnt shudder for probably a week, then it came back again. I'll get it sorted eventually hopefully...lolAnd now back to nsphelts problem 8)
From what the dealer told me, they replaced everything. However something they did mention about a week after it was done, was that they machined the firewall. With the car only having 1300kms on it at the time, shouldnt they have replaced the firewall?I dont know too much about it, but Im just going off what I've read and discussed with family.
Fergie used to go hunting1 at low revs/high gear until I fit my tuningbox.
