Hi there, during a recent carwash the jet of water got undrneath the trim under my back quarterlight and I can't find a replacement online anywhere.
Missing piece highlighted in my picture below.
Please could you tell me where I could get a replacement.
I have the original but it is very slightly bent now so I could try and stick it back on but I don't know what adhesive I should use either.
If I could get a new one with the adhesive that might be better.

Any accident repair shop should be able to source the part for you.

What kind of carwash?  If using a powerwash, never use it on the direction spray, always on fan!

Having said that, I would be tempted to try the dealer, tell em it fell off and the car behind ran over it!

I've seen this problem before on other i30 fourms and they always have gotten them replaced for free under warranty. The only thing is they had to get the small window replaced as well because apparently its part of it, so there might be a wait on the part.

Also the chrome always seemed to fall off because of washing, so maybe just says you were washing by hand and it fell off.

There are other i30 fourms forums?

I had a look on the catalogue at lunch today. VaerO is correct in that it is only available with the quarter window.

Thanks to all of you for your help, this forum is ACE!
I visited my local Hyundai dealer today and they confirmed that the trim is part of a window fitting that normally costs £144 but they agreed that it shouldn't have fallen off a 12 month old car so they are replacing it under warranty!
I'm really impressed, I thought I would have to get my wallet out for this tiny piece of metal but Hyundai's warranty has come up trumps again!!!
Cheers!!
