Whilst it's not unheard of for me to go 900+ miles on a brimmed tank (before last month I'd managed it three times) I was quite pleased to do it three times in a row in September. I've given details of my last five fills, the first and last being fairly typical whilst the three in the middle are exceptionally good.

Tripmeter Litres  Supermarket  p/litre  £Cost Date
827.9       58.93 Sainsbury's    105.9   62.41 03/9
901.9       59.68 Tesco            106.9   63.80 11/9
900.7       60.51 Sainsbury's    105.9   64.08 17/9
900.8       60.30 Sainsbury's    105.9   63.86 23/9
860.7       60.20 Morrisons       106.7   64.23 28/9

I've had my shine red 2009.5 model year 1.6 u2 6speed crdi Comfort hatchback from new and use it mainly for long, gentle journeys. During the miles listed above the odometer clicked round to 190,000 miles at which point the original rear brake discs and pads were replaced. The fronts are still okay for now.

Far out! I thought getting 1000km a tank from an 09 5spd was good
