Fanny
« September 17, 2018, 04:53:28 »

Went to Vietnam for a holiday a few years back and saw this shop.  I could not resist and went in to have a taste since they guarantee 100% natural :P  Just don't ask what they are made from.

Anyone else fancy some fanny?

hahaha

I think I wondered past that store when I was in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), so hot over there I wouldn't care where my ice cream came from :snigger:

That's priceless.

Wife ask if you had in Fanny while you were over there?  :sweating:

I was Fannying around in every position available.  :P

Considering the buying power of our AUD vs the Dong.  If I want Fanny icecream in Fanny, it wouldnt have cost me much for sure.

Yeah, from what some mates have told me I'm best off staying in Australia. I'd hate to get led astray.  :P

Unfortunately the seedy side of Vietnam is quite off putting, even in the high end hotels you'll see large groups of middle aged and elderly men, mostly Yanks and Germans who are there just to prowl on young girls :disapp: there is often a Vietnamese local hanging around outside every hotel offering his finders services for a fee, told a few to fxxx off several times as they just pester you constantly when down in the foyer's waiting for tours to arrive

I cant remember how many times some old lady we'd be walking past made the offer " get you young girl - very pretty", and that's while the girlfriend was standing next to me

In some way, it remind me of Thailand years back, when poverty + influx of tourist with buying power lead to incentive to make money wherever they can.

If you truly want to see the people, then you have to move away from all the tourist spot.
