I will probably have to go through insurance as it is that bad! But if one were to try clean it themselves what cleaning products and accessories should i use on a white 2017 i30?

If it had a good wax on it before this happened maybe  a good wash with very hot water then a clay bar, followed by  a light cut?

I removed painted signwriting off a car once with oven cleaner, needs two people as one wipes it on the other hoses off almost instantly, paint underneath wasn't affected though it's still a risky procedure.

If insurance will cover repairs then best not to touch it.

Ask a reputable panel repair shop for advice and also a household paint shop..
