I'm trying to work out what percentage PD cars are diesels compared to petrol?
PS I love my Diesel
They are a great little motor, but thanks to the VW dieselgate and various other factors they have lost a lot of their popularity.
This site was built on the popularity of the series 1 (FD) which gained almost legendary status. I guesstimate almost 50% of i30's sold were diesel at one stage.
From our experience on here with PD owners, plus my regular interactions with Hyundai dealers and their stock levels I would suspect 10% or less of PD i30's would be Diesels.
There are currently 652 PD i30's for sale on Carsales in Australia and only 34 are diesel (roughly 5%)
While I was at it I was interested to see what percentage of those for sale were SR or SR Premium. I was amazed that was less than 5% as well!
