Hi everybody

I'am new to the forum so forgive me if I am breaking some netiquette rules :)

I would like your opinion on an issue with my i30 (2017) 1.6 110cv Auto: when the speed is exceeding 140Km/h I can ear a sensor alarm beeping (similar to the one for the blind spot) but nothing is showed on the dashboard.

Here you can find a video recording of what happend to better understand :link: 20191022_090021_217072058310090.mp4 - Google Drive

Does someone have/had the same problem?

THank you in advance

Regards

Andrea

only just got to hear it - sounds more like something caused by wind noise on the video - you sure it comes from inside?

sure(ish)...it seems like the "beep" for blind spot but continuos and at lower level...
if is it caused by the wind, as you are suggesting, then is should be something "aerodynamic related" that every i30 have. Let's hear if maybe some other forum user can relate to this...meanwhile i will try to retract the rearview mirrors let's see if changing the aerodymanic helps...

by the way thanks for your interest!

:welcome: We can't maintain speeds above 100 kph or (+110kph in some areas) here in Australia without securing a fine, so will be difficult for myself or other Aussie members to help with this one.  :Pout:

i've been down under twice visiting my fiancee relatives in Wollongong!

Napoli and all the surroundings are just magical! Ever get the chance to go there?

Unfortunately by the time I could afford to, my health has made overseas travel a bit more expensive (travel insurance) and a lot more uncomfortable,  plus my wife isn't keen on going out of Australia for various other reasons.  :Pout:

Does the noise continue if you come off the gas, or continue?

I need to make some proper tests in order to reply correctly to your question

It is indeed a long and expensive trip, but...who knows? never say never  :)

True. If I could justify the cost of 1st class it might happen.
