I have spent ages trying to search for answer and found some previous discussions on this topic on this forum but no real conclusions. My cabin heater is blowing cold on one side of the car (passenger side in a UK vehicle)

When I select front windscreen both sides work and clear the windscreen

When I select the front facing option the right hand side vents blow hot air whilst the left ones blow like warm at best air

I have checked the cabin air filter and there isn't any blockage

I have checked that pipes are connected in the engine bay

I have shut the right vents and still the left ones blow cold so I am left totally stumped. Various links are talking about rusty mud blocking the radiator but why would this result in only the left hand side of the cabin being cold ?

The car is at a point now where I am trying to keep it running as mechanically it is in good condition just done 105 000 miles

Any help would be much appreciated

Regards

Grant
