Hi.

I have a 2019 i30 and have recently noticed that both rear doors won't open from the inside. I tried turning the child-lock (it rotates about 45 degrees) but it hasn't had any effect. The doors open fine from the outside.

As it's both doors, I thought it might have been a setting I accidentally enabled from the dash controls, but I can't see anything obvious. Also, thought it might have been a fuse?

Before I try taking it to a dealership, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

I see you say recently but is there any chance it may have been like this since you bought it?

As still under warranty and you have tried the obvious just take back to dealer for them to sort it out.

Just a thought

When trying to open the doors has the car been moving ang has just come to a halt/stopped?

Is the engine still running?

Is the key still in the ignition if engine turned off after running?

Is the door lock button with blue or whatever colour light on before trying to open door?

If above then is it possibly the safety door lock feature still being active?

There should be an explanation in the handbook about the feature.

Tried pulling the inside handles twice quickly? That's what you need to do on mine, or let the driver unlock.
