Hi all,

I’m quite new to the Hyundai i30. I have an 09 FD SX Manual.

I want to look at the ECU for fault codes. Will an OBD2 scanner work? Or what would be best?

It will probably get the engine codes. It won't give you BCM and ABS codes, you'd need a more expensive piece of kit for that.
