I have just purchased a 2009 I30 to find that it doesn't always want to start.  It has a new battery so this shouldn't be the issue.  It also gets a flickering dash when this is going to happen.     Today as i want to get out of the car the car alarm went off so I put the key back in and restarted it again.   But when I came back to my car again I had the flickering dash and then it wouldn't start.   I managed to get it started but it was loosing and gaining power as i pumped the electorater to try and keep it going.   As soon as I got going again it was fine, and hasn't happened again.

Any suggestions?
