I just bought a 2009 i30 with the left-side parking light out. I changed the bulb, which was clearly burnt out, but the new bulb does not illuminate. I don't see any fuse that operates just the parking light.

So I assume three is something going on with the wiring to that one bulb...
  has anyone seen this problem before?

get a meter and check voltage.

make sure new bulb is ok, I have had a few fail.

you know, you're right...
  the bulb looked fine (filaments in tact) but it was just broken!
