Can anyone recommend a book which lists all garden plants which are safe to eat.
I predict that the next run on supermarkets by panic hoarders will be vegetables. I want to get ready to beat them to the local garden centre when the panic starts.
We went to a garden centre on Saturday near Kidderminster and they had a mountain of toilet rolls for sale at whopping prices. And I'm not kidding.
While there we bought some plants and a wooden arch for the garden (like this one
Zest 4 Leisure Starlight Arch) but for £99.99 rather than the internet one at £129.99 plus delivery. It just about fitted into the car - the side members being 7' 6" (230 cm) long. I assembled and erected it yesterday in glorious sunshine - but it fair puffed me out - It weren't arf 'evvy.
Libby helped me by panting and grunting for me - I couldn't do it myself - being short of breath.
It's not often that local businesses beat internet prices nowadays.
