2010 i30 comfort, 98,000 miles.. Well serviced, maintained etc.
A noise has developed on offside front (right hand car).. Noise appears only when i reverse for a short time mostly in a straight line.
There is no noise if i fully turn wheels to left or right ie cv joint noise.
Only when i reverse for approx 2 metres.. No noise when driving.
Could it be cv joint? Track rod end? Drive shaft?
As i said no noise when driving, or full lock wheels or going over bumps.
