Scan tool is picking up a single fault code : C1259 , ECU: EPS . No other codes appear.
I believe i cleared in a few months ago, but its still there.
Should I be worried about this code popping up?
Unknown if related by on about 2-3 occasions a few years ago(3-5y) the 'ESP OFF' light occasionally became illuminated on some trips. Restarting engine made it go away.



Just looked up recalls for my VIN, will have to book in, would either of these recalls have anything to do with this code ?

Mate, code relates to steering angle sensor. Is the s/wheel knocking? Bush may need to be replaced.

No out of the ordinary noises from steering that i've noticed.
Other than wait i think is stuff moving around the boot (atleast i assume its stuff in the boot .... )

Ok if it keeps coming back get an indi garage to centre the steering. It may be marginally off centre.
