Hi,

Looking to replace oil in my 09 SX Petrol Manual. It has 240k on the clock.

The previous mechanic put in Castrol Edge 5W-30.

Would you recommend to continue using this or using something else?

With 240 thou on the clock 5W-30 would likely still be fine, though I'd probably bump it up to 5W-40 on an older engine.

Shell Ultra is great stuff Shell Helix Ultra Engine Oil 5W-40 5 Litre | Supercheap Auto if you can hold out for specials you can knock $30 off.
