Hey guys,

Tried searching if there is any similar post but couldn’t find one.
I have a i30 1.6 petrol 2008 manual. It constantly throws code P0172 System too rich - bank 1. I tried cleaning air filter, replacing fuel filter in tank but the problem still comes. Tried to found some vacuum leaks via propane torch but there wasn't any noticeable change at idle, so there probably isn't  :rolleyes:.
I have a cheap OBD reader and it give me this info at freeze frame:
DTCFRZF -> P0172
FUELSYS1 -> CL
FUELSYS2 -> N/A
LOAD_PCT(%) -> 22,0
ETC (°C) -> 87
SHRTFT1(%) -> -11,7
LONGFT1(5) -> 2,3
RPM(/min) -> 688
VSS (km/h) -> 0
SPARKADV (°) -> 4
IAT (°C) -> 49
IP(%) -> 7,8
RUNRM (sec) -> 2422
LOAD_ABS(%) -> 17
EQ_RAT -> 0,999
IP_R(%) -> 0,0
AAT(°C) -> 23

Any help is much appreciated :D.

Hey guys...
Just letting you know that I probably fixed the problem. My purge valve was bad, it didn’t close, so the air (exhaust) could travel constantly. I believe that that also caused the load to be so high on idle.
It is an expensive part, 72€, but hey what can you do. I saw that you can get them on ebay (China) for less than 20€ (OEM part number:29010-2b000) but I didn’t want to wait.
Cheers
